New Economics Foundation
Karen is a Researcher at the New Economics Foundation’s Centre for Wellbeing. She is interested in the different pathways proposed as a means to achieve environmental sustainability, and the role that wellbeing evidence has to play in shaping those pathways. Karen’s work at NEF has a strong focus on thinking in terms that go Beyond GDP to understand the success of societies. Before joining NEF, Karen worked as an analyst for a decentralised energy consultancy. She holds an MSc in Ecological Economics from the University of Edinburgh.
