Claire Jones is a Senior Consultant with Lane Clark & Peacock LLP, but was previously Sustainability and Economics Manager in ICAEW’s technical strategy department, leading ICAEW’s thought leadership work on natural capital and economic success. She brings an alternative economics perspective that focuses on the economy’s role in delivering social outcomes in a way that respects the constraints of the natural environment we live in.
Claire is a qualified actuary with twelve years’ experience of advising companies and trustees on the financing and management of company pension schemes. She volunteers for the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries as a member of its Resource and Environment Board and its Resource and Environment Research Committee. She works to raise awareness of the relevance of environmental risks to pension schemes and the work of actuaries, and the role of the financial system in achieving more sustainable outcomes.
